Pushing Job Types items to Employee Profiles

Coming up in May 2025.

Administrators have the ability to push key elements—Goals, Competencies, Development Plans, and Responsibilities—from Job Types directly to employee user profiles.

Important

Elements from each selected type will be pushed to employee profiles based on their assigned Job Type. Make sure employee Job Types are accurate and up to date before pushing elements to ensure correct alignment.

How It Works

1. Select Job Types

Start by choosing one or more Job Types to use as the source.

2. Choose Element Types

Pick the specific type(s) of elements you want to push:

  • Goals
  • Competencies
  • Development Plans
  • Responsibilities

3. Select Push Behaviour

Decide how existing items on employee profiles should be handled:

  • Archive existing items: This option archives any existing Competencies, Responsibilities, or Development Plans before adding the new ones.
  • Update matching items: If a matching item already exists, its content will be updated with the new version (overriding any modifications).

Notes

  • Goals will always be added as new items.
  • Matching is based on internal identifiers; titles alone may not determine a match.

This feature helps ensure employee profiles stay aligned with their Job Type expectations.
