Declining a 360 survey

Modified on Fri, May 12, 2023 at 9:42 AM

If for any reason a participant does not wish to complete a survey for a reviewee, they can choose to decline.

This may happen if the participant feels they do not have any valuable insight on the reviewee as they do not work directly with them.

A participant can easily decline to complete the survey by clicking on Decline next to the pending task.

They will then be asked to provide an explanation for declining.

An email notification goes out to the admin or the manager(person who launched the survey) informing them about the reason for declining. Managers with the privilege to launch 360 surveys as well as HR administrators can also click on Edit next to a reviewees name and then mouse over the Declined progress status on the Survey Participant table to reveal the reason for declining.
