Primalogik 360 allows you to easily organize employee performance appraisals. The process has some similarities with the 360° survey process.


For small groups, you may want to have a single person drive the whole process. That does not scale well for bigger groups. Bigger groups and organizations will want to delegate the process of launching the appraisal sessions to the managers of each department.


Small groups - HR initiates the appraisal process


You can have one person (typically someone within the HR department) drive the whole process. The HR designated person (or anyone else in charge of launching the appraisal process) will need the HR privilege. An administrator can grant that privilege through the Manage Users page.


Once the designated person has the proper privilege, she/he will be able to see every employee in the organization in the Performance Appraisals page.


Launching an appraisal is simple:

  1. Find the employee you want to initiate an appraisal on (the target of the appraisal).
  2. Start an appraisal by clicking on "New Appraisal" and follow the instructions.


Bigger groups - Managers initiate appraisals


For bigger groups, it does not really make sense to have one person in charge of the whole process. Different departments may want to work on different schedules and deadlines and it could make more sense for each manager to drive the appraisal process for their own group. 


Managers will be able to see every employee under their supervision in the the Appraisals and 360° Surveys page. Initiating an appraisal for any employee is quite simple:

  1. Find the employee you want to initiate an appraisal on (the target of the appraisal).
  2. Start an appraisal by clicking on "New Survey" and follow the instructions.
