When the performance appraisal has gone through the first two steps:

  1. Self-review
  2. Manager's appraisal

The interface will show the progress like this:


Once you click on the Results button you will be able to share the results with the employee, Elvis in this case:


That button will be shown to Elvis' manager, as well as the manager of Elvis' manager (in this case, Diana's manager), and so on.

Users with HR privilege will also be able to share the results.
