The Primalogik Slack integration enables the system to send messages to your users on Slack, including reminders, survey launches, receiving feedback and more.
To enabled the integration go to your Integrations page and click on Configure next to Slack, and follow the instructions.
Once the integration is configured the Primalogik App will be added to your slack workspace.
Who receives Slack notifications?
Primalogik sends notifications directly to individual users via Slack and does not post messages to public or private channels.
Notifications are delivered based on the user’s email address. To receive Slack messages, the user’s email in Slack must match the email associated with their Primalogik account.
If a user — whether HR, admin, or manager — is set to receive an email notification from Primalogik, they will also receive the same notification via Slack, provided the email addresses match across both platforms.
Example
Someone adds a note on a employee's journal and select the option to notify managers and HR admins.
The manager gets an email notification directly in their inbox:
When the Slack integration is configured and enabled, the manager will also get a slack message in their Primalogik App.
Which types of notifications are sent via Slack?
Almost all notifications that are sent by email are also sent via Slack. This includes, reminders, progress reports, feedback notifications, invites to complete reviews and surveys, and more. There are a few exceptions like password reset emails, those will never be sent via Slack. Outside of those few exceptions, if it's sent by email it will also be sent via Slack.
